It's Over

I don'thave alot of time or energy to write a big long post, but wanted to say that Nick and I are over, or whatever we had. We talked in person last night,I basically cornered him and made him talk. He just isn't feeling it and I need to cut my losses. He had no real explanation other than he has doubts of us being together and he is acting on that. I'm really sad and tired today. Been crying a lot and just trying to be with friends. I have told Nick and that we cannont talk or text at all. I need time to heal and being just friends at the moment is not an option for me at this time. PLease send positive thoughts for me. I'm kinda a wreck and just trying to get through this. Thank God for my dogs and horse I'm really going to need them right now

I'm going through the same thing right now, and all I can say is thank god for our horses and other animals. You'll get through this (which you know), but of course it's sad and it's disappointing. If only we could just fast forward to the point where it doesn't hurt anymore and we're looking back on it and realizing it was for the best. But that day will come. Hang in there.

Ah, I felt this was going to be the end result of this. Whenever guys give you the 'lets just be friends' line it's never good.

Any why do they think they can break your heart, then just go back to being friends?

Dogs and horses never break your heart.

Hang in there lady.

Hang in there. I think you did the right thing by severing contact. I don't think it's really possible for us to get over someone while still talking or hanging out with them. (I should know, I tried for more than a year.)
Good luck and know that we're all sending good thoughts your way!

After years of ins and outs myself, realizing that "enough is enough" is paramount. Look for your joy. Rest easy knowing that what you've now got in your horses and other animals is a key to that happiness. Too bad I didn't realize that 10-15 years ago. . . . It only gets better.
